Crafty Fox
so i've decided to start selling shit. not my organs so much as stuff i make. i consider myself a crafty person not quite like martha but i channel her. when i was in omaha last month i got this headband and thought i could totally make this. and i might actually try. i was looking at etsy store policy and it isn't too much of a scam. you have to pay 20 cents per item that you list and then 3.5% of the sale price not including shipping. so even if i only sell a couple things i'd still make a profit. the key is to keep the cost low. i plan on venturing to michaels and joanns if i must. there's a store that's really gone down hill. i remember going to joanns and it having tons of fabric, trim, buttons, etc. (remember i did 4-h) now if you go to the store on 84th (by our favorite pizza place) it's practically empty. it's also a hancock fabric and crafts store now. actually now that i think of it i think it wasn't a joanns at all i think it was called something else. regardless it's gone down hill. i like michaels alot but they don't have any fabric type stuff. unfortunately there are no hobby lobbys here. actually i've never lived anywhere with a hobby lobby except omaha.

another thing i thought about selling at one point was digital art. my sister in law and her friend used to take pictures of objects at their office and then distort them with digital image suite. it sounds ugly and weird but they're actually really really cool. in fact that's what first started me wanting my fancy dslr- which by the way i have been attempting to use. shockingly when i tried taking a picture of patrick the flash got all weird like a strobe light. i haven't read the manual thoroughly enough obviously.

on a totally different note i really really want the pool to be open. they closed it when i went to omaha and it's still closed. they resurfaced it and it looks really nice but today and yesterday were sooo freaking hot i really wanted to force patrick to go. i'm sure it has something to do with shit fully dried and the chemicals blah blah blah.

song lyrics of the day:
i seen every blue eyed floozy on the way
but their beauty and their style
went kind of smooth after a while
take me to them dirty ladies every time

on a side note: what kind of dog breed is your significant other/self - patrick thought it was nuts when i asked him what kind of dog would i be.
