these boots are made for....

its been so long since i've bought a pair of shoes it hurts my heart. i love them especially boots. however for use girls with muscular (i repeat i do not have cankles) calves it used to be so freakin hard to buy boots that fit. i really wasn't a fan of short boots until recently when they started becoming less hooker and more awesome. but now i am aware of the greatness that come with the look of a boot but not having to shove your 16 inch calve in a 15 inch cylinder. i just wish the ugg company would get a hint now and i'd be set.

so here are come favorites of mine that have been making me get all a flutter. (note my affinity for brown- i just have a weird think with black boots. i don't know why i just like brown better.)

(and i would've tried to space these better but i'm lazy and the blogger is freaking the hell out.)

Tuesday

no i'm not confused what day it is i just think that tuesday was more eventful than this morning has been. being that it is what we dance teachers know as "recital season" i've been on itunes pretty much non stop. i don't have tons of songs to pick because lots of my classes are adult and they aren't performing in the recital. asking a person like me to pick 8 songs they want to hear many many many times over and choreograph a dance too and potential never want to hear again is a difficult task. i do not in fact tend to pick songs i really really like because of the fact that i will probably by may/june want to puke after hearing it. i have all but 2 chosen and they are really stumping me.

while i was annoying the living daylights out of patrick searching and playing songs tuesday night i stumbled upon the itunes essentials section. (i actually like a lot of their compilations) i found one called 90's christian rock and so i had to quiz patrick. being that he used to work as a dj for a christian radio station in college i figured he would ace it. he plowed right through the basics. and fared pretty well on the next steps and the deep cuts. the ones that tricked him were the more r&b songs. i guess kgbi didn't bust a lot of kirk franklin.

i of course like real music so i hadn't heard about 90% of these rediculous songs. i of course knew the ones from those tv ads for now that's what i call worship. can you believe i used to have some of those ads memorized and could tell you what song was next? i don't remember the actual name of the cds but one was a dance hits compilation called fired up!

1.I Turn to You - Melanie C (Hex Hector Radio Mix)
2.Around the World (La La La La La) - ATC
3.Nobody's Supposed to Be Here - Deborah Cox
4.Better Off Alone - Alice Deejay
5.If You Could Read My Mind - Stars on 54
6.Barbie Girl - Aqua
7.Don't Call Me Baby - Madison Avenue
8.Do You Miss Me - Jocelyn Enriquez
9.In a Dream - Rockell
10.Just a Little Bit - Gina G. (mix)
11.Free - Ultra Nate (Mood II Swing Radio Mix)
12.I See You Baby - Groove Armada
13.Call Me - Le Click (Spike Mix)
14.Bomb!, The (These Sounds Fall into My Mind) - The Bucketheads
15.One More Try - Kristine W
16.This Is Your Night - Amber (Main Mix)
17.Blue (Da Be Dee) - Eiffel 65
18.Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation

anyone else remember those sweet tunes?? i think this was the one i was thinking of...

i also knew some 70s one with bread, and janis joplin and i think there was also a carpenters love song. apparently in the 90s i watched a lot of commercials. well i can certainly cross these off of my potential recital songs list.

song lyrics of the day:
upside down and inside out
i'm about to show all you folks
what's it's all about
now it's time to get on the mic
and make this party hype

being a person that loves to shop you would think i know exactly what i want for christmas (and my soon to follow birthday) but that is just not the case. patrick says i'm a hard person to buy for because if there's something i really want i usually just go out and get it myself. but now that i'm broke i really don't shop that much. living with mom and dad sounds really good right about now. i will be focused on getting my 4th job when i get back from omaha. there's really no sense in job hunting when you're going to be gone for two weeks very soon.

so here are a few things i wouldn't mind unwrapping this christmas.

the keurig platinum coffee maker. at first when these came out i though they were awesome and wanted one. then i decided that the little coffee pods you use to brew were to expensive to make it worth while. now they have this thing that you can use regular coffee grounds and still use it so i am back to thinking these are money.

hello lover! this baby was on my wish list the very second i laid eyes on it in a magazine. plus it matches our new snazzy red microwave. i don't know that once i actually used one i'd even like the stand mixer but its so shiny and pretty.

i've been jonesing for a bid daddy food processor lately. i just have a mini one and it's really loud. this one is martha stewert and actually has a matching kitchenaid mixer in that color (one of my favorites) that i'd settle for. i also saw a cute yellow food processor that i think was 10 cups instead of 12.

i am loving the key pendants at tiffanys. who doesn't want a little blue box?

i repeat sparkles + me = happy. my niece once made me something and said look it's pink and sparkly your favorite.

i know i know you're saying it's not cold in california. let me tell you that i wear my fake uggs more here then i did in the snow. (mostly because i almost bit it too many times in the snow because they have shitty traction). plus i like them and they are short enough to fit over my calves. (they are muscular i do not have cankles!)

i most definitely wouldn't mind opening a box and pulling out jillians body. that would be sooo awesome. except i don't want her muscly pecks. that creeps me out.

song lyrics of the day:
want a plane that loops the loop
me, i want a hula hoop
we can hardly stand the wait
please christmas, don't be late
