lazy

so last week i got sick. then i got patrick sick. then the tissues started multiplying and the newspapers starting piling up. i'm am better now (but still stuffy) but the house is another story. i have never been the anal super organized kind of person. i am very right brained. i can let the house get messy to a certain point and then i clean it from top to bottom. ok, maybe not from top to bottom because my mom would still say it was dirty and dusty. she is very neat and organized. my sister in law used to tell the kids it's ok to eat stuff you drop on grandma's floor cause it's clean.





it's not that bad- but it could go there. isn't shel siverstein so great. i love his poems.

we finally got a new microwave with the money my mom gave to patrick for his birthday. well i'm sure we spent it right away but the point was we said we were going to buy a microwave with it. it's so cute. it's red. actually to be precise it is the same red as opi nail polish color "an affair in red square". i came home and painted my nails to match it. yes i am that strange. patrick is loving the it pops the whole bag of popcorn and doesn't leave kernels at the bottom. i like that i can control the seconds. my old one had dials not buttons. what can you expect i think it was 30 bucks.



ugh i don't want to clean!!! grrrr where's my maid? maybe i can put it off until next week when i have more time off. one of my studios is closed the whole week for thanksgiving. it seems a little excessive to me. i didn't even get that much time of in college! we had only thursday and friday. if we were lucky the teacher would cancel wednesday if the majority of the class was going to be gone. we didn't have fall break either...there i go procrastinating again....
