presents!

yesterday was a bad day. i just felt flustered and frustrated. ( a feeling i know well these days.) part of it could be that my house is in need of FEMA. i still have suitcases in the living room and junk all over. patrick and i are not the cleanest of people. i do think that most of the problem is we don't have a place for everything. the other part is i'm lazy.

my cleaning style is let it get to the point where i can't take it. then clean. (as i type this i am looking over the computer screen at my christmas tree.) i get home around 9 most days the last thing i want to do is clean while patrick sits around and watches tv! but tomorrow i will get it done. i hope.

anyway, yesterday was crappy then it got better after my second class. so i decided to go with ashley to san francisco to take a class. now the last time i took class was only a few weeks ago but it doesn't mean i'm in shape. picking up choreography is a skill you lose over time. plus to add insult to injury it was a hip hop class. i suck at hip hop. luckily it was only an advanced beginner class so it wasn't crazy difficult. plus i loved the song! (tik tok)

so i got home about 10:30 and put my purse in the kitchen only to see...... A KEURIG COFFEE MAKER!!! i was sooo excited! i was a little sad i didn't have a big box to open but then patrick explained to me that that is how his dad does presents. he said his dad likes to just set up the present and see how long it takes for his mom to notice. i asked him how long he thought it would take me to notice. he said he thought i'd notice pretty quick considering i put my stuff right by the counter it was sitting on. plus it's black and stands out against our white cabinets.

i did express my concern for him not getting the one that makes the 12oz size and we talked about exchanging it. i at one point had a million bed bath and beyond coupons and now i have none. i wanted to use it to get the big daddy one for the same price as the one i got, hey if you can get a deal why the heck not!

i used it today and love it! it's sooo fast. although i don't have the brew size to cup ratio figured out i still wanted to test it. i wanted to use it last night but i didn't think i needed coffee at 11pm. i had a hard enough time falling asleep as it was. (then i had a dream patrick cheated on me in my own house and then denied it. to top it off the girl was really good looking!) dream patrick gets real patrick in trouble a lot.
