weekend update

john gosselin you are a douche. last night i found out that the last episode of jon & kate plus 8 was going to air. i've only watched part of it but i've seen enough to support my opinion. now he lives in nyc with his fetus girlfriend and wears ed hardy shirts and stunner shades and he needs to get serious. i know there are many people that think kate is a bitch but i feel bad for her. i'd be a bitch too if i was at home with 8 kids all day. my only hope is that they just give jon the boot and keep kate and the 8. patrick suggested they get rid of the twins too and just do kate plus 6.

i spent this weekend in santa clara at a dance convention/competition. it was a very strange feeling being there with a new group. i've gone to many of these things but always with my old teacher and her studio ( or when i was little with the studio i went to ) but this time i was with new girls. new people that i don't have that bond with. i'm used to being with nikki and we take classes together and make fun of shitty dances together. this time i was alone. yes there were girls there and some teachers but ashley couldn't dance cause she is getting over pneumonia. so that left kristen. i don't really know her that well but after this weekend i don't think i'm a fan. i felt like she was trying to compete with me and show me up and then she'd just leave and go off to another ballroom. i was trying to work with her to go over combinations and she acted like figure it out for yourself. at one point i said "i think i'm doing this step on the wrong foot" and she actually said "yeah, you are". well you can be sure the next day when she was having a problem i didn't go out of my way to teach it to her. she probably doesn't like me either but i'm certainly not losing any sleep over it. none of us even sat together at the competition. that didn't so much bother me though because i was the only teacher without a dance competing. but it made me really homesick.

on top of that i got a severe allergy attack probably due to the poor air quality in the hotel and the feathers and dancing on carpet etc. but i think it has now progressed into a minor sinus infection. booo. luckily i have a super easy week. after tomorrow i have nothing to do until monday. yay. i love sleeping in it makes me a happy person. i just wish today and tomorrow would hurry up and be done with.
