so i have finally decided it's time to learn to use the fancy camera. i call it a new camera because i've never used it but i've owned it since christmas. it's an olympus e-400 i think. it's a dslr so i can do swanky pics. the only thing about it is that it's large. that was the reason i almost didn't get it because i wanted something i can carry around. i ended up getting the dslr though because the reason i wanted a new camera was because i wanted to be able to do better things. i figure also someday when i have kids and crap i'll want a nice camera. plus when i have money again i can always get a smaller everyday camera. i think when i get that one i'll either get the olympus stylus because it's shatter proof and water proof or the canon that nate and jacqueline have from the image is found. now, if i could take pics like them i'd be set. in my collgege alumni magazine- yes magazine not just a shitty newspaper- i read that olympus did a contest with the photog majors at my alma matter. that made me think "note to self buy olympus it support my school". that way by buying olympus products i'm indirectly supporting uarts and then i don't have to feel obligated to give them money when they send me shit in the mail. i figure i gave them four years of my life, my parents gave them many dolla billz, what did i get? a degree and a notice from facebook that my email may no longer be valid. thats what happens when you seek out a college that doesn't require you to take math and major in dance. at least i'm using my degree kinda.
