yay i made caramel apples today! i looooove caramel apples. nothing to me says halloween/autumn like going to vala's and getting a caramel apple and going on the hayrack ride to get pumpkins. for those of you not from nebraska vala's is a pumpkin patch and when you're in elementary school you go and get pumpkins. and i'm talking like every school. that place is jumpin this time of year. i think you can also pick apples or berries there. well you go to the bellevue berry farm for strawberries. taylor, brogan, angel mom, me, jen and drew all went over the summer. brogan looooooooooved it he sat right down and starting eating-he was a pink sticky mess. mom said they were gonna go pick apples. i was jealous. i don't think i've picked apples that i can remember. dad and i always used to pick berries. come to think of it dad and i were always the ones to go get the stuff like that, pumpkins, the christmas tree, straberries, plums-although plum picking was a family thing-until the poopy snow storm knocked out tree down. sad. i was watching qvc last week and they had mrs prindibles gourmet desserts. they had some good looking caramel apples-which caused the whole craving. the only thing is i don't really like shit on my apples. like peanuts and sprinkles and chocolate. oh i guess i had one last week from whole foods-but it had peanuts on it and it wasn't home made!
